TPS is ideal for making grips, non-slip bases, vibration-damping pads or seals, for example. It adheres well to the print bed and, with the right settings, can be reliably printed with direct extruder printers.
Where to use it:
- Grips, handles
- Seals, soft connecting elements
- Flexible functional parts (e.g. anti-slip pads, cushions)
- Vibration damping or shock absorbing parts
Where not to use:
- High-speed Bowden printers (extrusion difficulties due to low hardness)
- For parts that require permanent shape or load-bearing properties
