Filamenton TECH PC+PBT - Black - 1,75 mm

Filaments manufactured according to the usual Herz formula are now available under the name FilamentOn! FilamentOn PC/PBT is a high-performance technical filament that combines the advantages of PC (polycarbonate) and PBT (polybutylene terephthalate). Polycarbonate ensures outstanding impact resistance and scratch resistance, while PBT contributes to high strength, good wear resistance and chemical resistance.

Details

This composite material retains its mechanical properties even at low temperatures, is easy to varnish and paint, and has low moisture absorption, so it retains its dimensions over the long term. PC/PBT is not prone to shrinkage, but for best results, we recommend using a heated bed and a closed printing environment.

Where to use it:

  • Industrial components that must withstand heat, chemicals or physical impact
  • Automotive or electronic casings
  • Long-life technical components where hardness and dimensional stability are important

 Where not to use:

  • Bowden extruder machines (due to high heat requirements and hardness)
  • If you do not have an enclosed printing space – the risk of layer separation increases in open spaces

Advantages of FilamentOn PC/PBT:

  • Excellent impact and scratch resistance
  • Good chemical resistance and low water absorption
  • Can be painted, varnished and easily post-processed
  • Dimensionally stable, not prone to shrinkage
  • Domestically developed and manufactured

Additional data:
Recommended printing parameters For conventional printers (e.g. Prusa i3 MK3S, Ender 3 + modifications, Anycubic Mega X):
  • Nozzle temperature: 235-250 °C
  • Bed temperature: 90–120 °C
  • Cooling: 0–20% (minimum airflow recommended)
  • Speed: 30–60 mm/s
  • Enclosed print chamber: highly recommended
  • Surface: PEI, BuildTak or adhesive layer recommended
Recommended printing parameters for high-speed and industrial printers (e.g. Bambulab X1C, Voron, Prusa XL, Raise3D, Creality K1 Max):
  • Nozzle temperature: 270–290 °C *
  • Bed temperature: 100–110 °C
  • Chamber temperature: min. 50–60 °C recommended
  • Cooling: 0–10%
  • Speed: 60–100 mm/s
  • Nozzle: hardened steel or high heat resistance nozzle recommended
* Higher head and chamber temperatures promote layer adhesion and reduce delamination defects.
